Abstract

The book of the famous Muslim thinker is a tafsir of the 29th surah of the Holy Qur’an. It contains the history of this surah’s revelation, explanation of its name’s specific meaning, and edifying stories from some prophets’ lives. Each ayah is followed by detailed comments and notes. The author draws the readers’ attention to such important tenets of shariah, like persistence in faith, prayer and its hidden meaning, divine trials, virtuousness and respect to parents.

The book is written in a simple and interesting manner and is meant for a wide audience, from experts to all those who want to understand the whole variety of the Revelation’s semantic layers.
