The publishing house "Sadra" has published a unique collection of poems by the orientalists Marina Reisner and Lev Reisner —"Country diaries. Sea Pebbles”.
The collection consists of two parts and contains poems written by the father and daughter in different years. They speak about summer, vacation spent at the countryside house and at the sea, communication with family members. The poems reflect the authors' memories of the time they spent together. They are full of warmth, care, attention, love and family comfort. The poems often describe nature resonating with the emotions of the authors.
Lev Reisner (1928-1990) was a distinguished expert in Oriental Studies, Doctor of Economics, who worked on the history of India, economic theories of growth in developing countries and the general theoretical aspects of development in the Eastern countries. He spent all his life working for the RAS Institute of Oriental Studies (former USSR Academy of Sciences).
Marina Reisner (b. 1954) is an orientalist and philologist, expert in the history of Persian classical literature, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
