Abstract

Over the last decades Islam has been rapidly spreading and gaining a foothold throughout the world. In this context, the society shows increasing interest to the Muslim culture and ideology. Theological works are supposed to help people properly comprehend the nature of Islamic teachings.

The book introduced to readers was complied from the articles of Hamid Reza Ayatollahi, professor in the Tehran University. The articles are devoted to various aspects of religious research and cover such issues like arguments for God’s existence, importance of religion’s language, Islamic viewpoint on morality and relations between science and religion. They also touch upon some crucial problems, such as the role of religion in the globalization era and interfaith dialogue.

The book is meant for philosophy and religious studies experts, as well as general readers.
