The book of Muhammad Hosseini Beheshti, a famous Iranian theologian and expert in history of religions, describes the countries where Islam appeared afterwards. The reader can learn more about pre-Islamic Arabia, Zoroastrian Iran, Ancient Egypt and Abyssinia. In a compelling way Beheshti talks about the political system and class structure of these states, and about the culture and beliefs of their population.
