Abstract

The author identifies main topics in the modern Arab philosophical discourse, systematizing the arguments of Arab philosophers around pivotal concepts. Some problems are similar to those discussed nowadays in the Russian society.

The book will be of great interest for experts in Islamic studies and all those interested in modernization challenges of non-Western societies.
