Abstract

This is the first time when the full translation of the chapter on metaphysical theology from the encyclopedia “Healing” by Ibn Sina, the main philosopher of the classical Islam and the most influential thinkers in history, has been published in Russian. The first volume includes the translation of the work “Theology” with commentaries. The second volume consists of three appendixes: the translation of the part “Psychology”, the compendium of the relevant parts on logics and natural philosophy and the research essay on Avicenna’s version of metaphysics.

The book is addressed to philosophers, theologians and everybody who is interested in Muslim culture.

The text has been published preserving the author’s spelling and punctuation.
