The 12th International Book Fair in Ashgabat is the most important book event in Turkmenistan. It took place on 1-2 October 2018.

This year publishers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, France, United Kingdom, South Korea, China and Iran took part in the exhibition.

It is the third time that the Islamic Culture Research Foundation and the Sadra publishing house presented their books at the exhibition in Ashgabat. This years the readers were offered works on Qur'anic studies, philosophy and irfan, history, law, Islamic art, culture, as well as books for children.

The new books of the Sadra publishing house included "The Qu'ran in the culture of Muslim peoples" by M.A.Taskhiri, "Bread and light" by I. Nazarahari, "The light of love and faith" - a collection of stories by R.Amirkhani, S.M.Shojai, S. Erfani, N. Ebrahimi, and the 9th edition of "Shahnameh" along with the 10th edition of the "Shekarestan" series in the children's books section.
