On November 30, 2021 the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences will hold a special event to honor the memory of Mais Nazarli (1961-2020). The event will start with a demonstration of the works dedicated to three Abrahamic religions and prepared by the artist and architect E. M. Khailov. Participants and guests will share their memories of the late art expert.
The visitors and participants will include:
A.V. Smirnov, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, acting Director of the RAS Institute of Philosophy;
H. Khadavimogaddam, president of the Ibn Sina Foundation;
R. R. Suleymanov, president of the Mardjani Foundation;
A. A. Lukashev, research director of the Ibn Sina Foundation; senior associate of the RAS Institute of Philosophy;
T. M. Jani-Zade, associate professor of the Department of Art History at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music;
T.H. Starodub, leading researcher of the Department of Foreign Art at the Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts at the Russian Academy of Arts;
G. V. Lasikova, сurator of Textiles and Manuscripts Collection at the Mardjani Foundation.
At the end of the event the guests will be able to watch Emir Valinejad's documentary “Tochka” (“The Dot) prepared with the participation of Mais Nazarli.
The event will take place in the big conference hall of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences on 30 November 2021 from 15:00 to 18:00.
