Levan Jagaryan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Artem Andreyev, director of the Center for Iranian Studies under the St. Petersburg State University. During the meeting Artem Andreyev presented the Ambassador with the album "The Treasure House of Mysteries" published with the support of the Ibn Sina Foundation.

Levan Jagaryan accepted the gift prepared by the leading experts in Iranian studies of St. Petersburg State University and praised the scale and significance of their work. Thanks to the efforts of codicologists headed by Olga Yastrebova, the general audience got a unique opportunity to get acquainted not only with Persian manuscripts of the 13th-18th centuries, but also with the history of Iranian-Russian relations, where the generous gifts of Iranian artisans played a special role. The Ambassador also noted that due to its bilingual characteristics the book was available both to the Russian and Persian-speaking audience.

"The Treasure House of Mysteries" is an album published in 2021 by the publishing house of the St Petersburg State University with the support of the Ibn Sina Foundation. The book contains descriptions and replicas of 35 Iranian manuscripts from the University's collection, as well as two essays on the history of the Persian manuscript tradition and Russian library collections.
