On 14-18 November 2022, the Ibn Sina foundation in collaboration with the Oriental Culture Centre (Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences), the Oriental Literature Centre (Russian State Library, Moscow) and the Afanasi Nikitin Association will hold an exhibition entitled "The Contemporary Iranian Miniature”, where the visitors will be able to see the works of the well-known Iranian miniature painter, Reza Badr as-Sama. The programme includes a number of workshops. Please register to attend the exhibition.
Is it possible to see the poetry freeze? Is it possible to see it scared, caught by surprise or following someone's orders? It captures itself in art, faces, paintings. It pours its colours into Iranian miniatures, revealing its eternal presence in the images of past and present. What does it look like on canvas?
We invite you to visit the exhibition of Reza Badr al-Sama, one of the greatest miniature painters in Iran, and to find answers to these questions.
