Ibn Sina Foundation took part in the Literature salon “Message Through Centuries” dedicated to 975th anniversary of Omar Khayyam. The event took place on the 7thof December in Vladikavkaz. 

The scientific director of the Foundation Andrei Lukashev greeted the attendants via video. He underlined the importance of this event for the cooperation between the National Scientific Library RSO-Alania, The Society of Russian-Iranian Friendship “Iran-Iriston” and Ibn Sina Foundation. He also expressed a hope for strengthening the links between these organizations. The president of the Society “Iran-Iriston” T.E. Dzeranov, its chairman Y.P. Gabisov, a folk poet of Southern Ossetia I.G. Gurjibekova, students from the Northern Ossetia State University, foreign students from the Northern Caucasian State Technological University and the representatives of the Tatar Gabdullah Tukai Non-Profit Organization participated in the event.

Book and illustration exhibition of Foundations’ literature, literature departments of foreign books in foreign languages, fiction literature, books in Persian belonging to the National Library RSO-Alania and literature translations published and donated to the Library by Ibn Sina Foundation was also arranged in the framework of the event.
