The closing ceremony of the 41th Award “Book of the Year” took place in Tehran at the Hall of Unity on Wednesday, the 7thof February 2024. The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi gave a speech at the ceremony.

According to the results the book “Persian Language and Literature” by Patimat Magomedovna Alibekova, the candidate of philology, the leading researcher of G. Tsadasa Institute of Language, Literature and Art of the Dagestan Federal Institute Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, received the Iranian award “Book of the Year” in the category of the “World Book of the Year”.

The work by P.M. Alibekova was published in 2022 by “Sadra” Publishing House with the support of Ibn Sina Foundation in cooperation with G. Tsadasa Institute of Language, Literature and Art. In 2022 the book “Persian Language and Literature in Dagestan” was included into the top list of the International Intellectual Literature Book Fair Non/fiction№24.
