The International Book Fair of Intellectual Literature non/fictio№SPRING took place at Gostiny Dvor from the 4th to the 7th of April. It was the 17th time when Ibn Sina Foundation together with “Sadra” Publishing House presented its production at the fair.

On the 4th of April three presentations took place at the stand of the Foundation and “Sadra”. Thus, the scientific director of the Foundation A.A. Lukashev spoke on two published books: the two-volume “Healing and Theology” by Ibn Sina and the monograph by Yu.E. Fyodorova “Wondering in Knowledge: the Experience of Philosophic Understanding of the poem by Farid al-Din Attar ‘The Language of Birds’”. Besides this, S.A. Tarasova presented her translation of the series of parables’ collection “Persian Tales”. As well, A.B. Gromov presented his newly issued book “Persia – Iran: the XX Century”. 

Three works by Ibn Sina Foundation and “Sadra” Publishing House were included into the top list of non/fictio№SPRING: “Scheherazade’s Tales” (based on “A Thousand and One Nights”), “Persia – Iran: the XX Century” (A.B. Gromov), “Healing and Theology: a Two Volume” (Ibn Sina) translated from Arabic with the commentaries and the afterword of Tawfiq Ibrahim.

The above mentioned books, as well as “A Textbook on Persian Language” by V.B. Ivanov and “Hafiz. One Hundred Gazelles” translated by V.S. Zharkova and I.V. Abramenko, became especially popular among readers this year.
