The second volume of the three-volume Persian-Russian Dictionary compiled by V.B. Ivanov and edited by E.L. Gladkova has been published.

The new edition contains 26,000 words beginning with 16 letters of the Persian alphabet (from ج to ع), as well as 24,000 expressions. The second volume continues the first one, which was previously published by Nauka in 2020 and comprises 25,000 words and expressions from the beginning of the alphabet to the letter ج.

The extensive Persian-Russian dictionary reflects the great changes that the Persian language has undergone in the last 50 years, taking into account new developments in computer science, military matters, space exploration, economics, art and many other fields, and providing equivalents in the contemporary Persian language and phraseology.

The second volume of the dictionary was published by the Ibn Sina foundation with the financial support of the "Russian World" foundation.
