In 2023 “Sadra” Publishing House published two issues of the Magazine of Islamic Philosophy “Ishraq” with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation, the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Iranian Institute of Philosophy.

The first issue includes four articles by A.A. Lukashev, V.A. Drozdov, G. Kakai and A. Teik, as well as preparatory materials for “A Dictionary of Arabic Muslim Philosophic Terms” by the late Yanic Eshots and the translation of the third chapter of “The Primary Speeches on Selected Teachings” by al-Shaikh al-Mufid performed by F.O. Nofal.

The second issue contains four articles by R.V. Pskhou, I.R. Nasyrov, J. Khatem, Sh. Asadollahi and J. Jalali-Sheijani, the original source “A Book on Resurrection” by Abu al-Hasan al-Suri with the foreword by F.O. Nofal, and two book reviews on “The Culture of Ambiguity and Pluralism: a Way to the Other Image of Islam” by T. Bower (by A.V. Paribok, R.V. Pskhou) and “God, Nature and Cause: Essays on Islam and Science. Dubai: Kalam Research & Media” by M.B. Altaie (by M.V. Shpakovsky).

The new issue of “Ishraq” is awaited soon in 2024.

The magazine “Ishraq” has been published in a soft coverage in the official status of a periodical since 2023. The editor-in-chief of the magazine is the academician A.V. Smirnov (the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences), its commissioning editor is Vs.V. Zolotukhin (the National Research University “High School of Economics”), its vice chief editors are A.A. Lukashev and F.O. Nofal (both are from the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences).
